Mia and Mai

Background

Raina‘s sisters Mia and Mai, are a couple of hellhounds in Wolf Song. They fearlessly ambush their prey, be it a deer or another wolf. Their attacks work best when they are together, which results in them rarely being apart. They love preying on people with low self esteem – like Kara and Raina.

Personality

Mia and Mai enjoy tormenting others and rarely back down from a fight. They instantly take advantage of Raina’s insecurity and thrive on fear and hesitation. The 2 sisters commonly flirt and confuse their male opponents, while they “Mean Girls” their female opponents. Mia and Mai don’t live other wolves or hellhounds, but they maintain a strong sisterly connection to each other throughout the movie. Raina does share some of this bond – this is shown when Mia convinces Raina to not kill her pregnant sister Mai.

Relationships

The 2 sisters have an alright relationship with their father, The Death Alpha. They are unable and unwilling to fight their father out of fear and affection. Their father doesn’t respect them any more than he respects Raina. Additionally, Mia and Mai see their sister Raina as a toy and nothing more. Their relationship consists of nothing but malice.

Ambitions

The two sisters aspire to be the next hellhounds to rule the realm of the living. They attempt to raise up in ranks by capturing The Pure Of Heart and one day succeeding their father.
